Ukraine Mission...

The TEAM has had the opportunity to work with the special needs children at one orphanage during each mission trip to Ukraine. Over the years, changes have been made, new techniques have been implemented, and the children have been given new opportunities. It is so exciting to see that the TEAM's work in Urkaine is making a difference. This year, we will have the opportunity to visit additional orphanages, a regional hospital, and a clinic that works with special needs children. Check out this video from last year's mission trip...

Wonderful to see children with special needs receiving the help that is needed. Stimulation and warm loving staff and interaction with people, children blossom.

Christie..we are in the process of adopting a little boy from Russia with Down Syndrome. I work with Reece's Rainbow Down Syndrome adoption ministry and I'm wondering if you are meeting some of the children we advocate for from the Ukraine! :) Stop by my blog to read about our journey. I so appreciate what you are doing for the children of Eastern European orphanages.

I found your blog via Kelly's Korner and am an occupational therapist in Texas. (Dallas) I have previously been interested in Ukraine therapy trips, but have never put my words into action. Is the trip limited to TEAM employees? I know it might be too late this year to get all my paper work, shots etc in line before April, but I'd be interested to hear more about the trip (cost, where you stay while there etc) for next year or other ways to help. I see the wish list and hope to get some supplies to you soon. You can e-mail me at jkmaedgen@gmail.com or see my blog www.maedgenmoments.blogspot.com. God bless!!!
