Family night out...

After being coped up for the past 2 weeks...we decided to get out! With just a few things on our list, we headed out to our typical go to places....Sam's, Target, and Wal-mart. Owen was so excited to see people, other than mom and dad! But, by the time we got to Wal-mart, he was done with riding in the basket and decided to be a wild man! Here he is hiding under the self with all the storage containers....he thought it was hilarious!

After letting Owen run out some energy at Wal-mart, we decided to grab some dinner. And we actually stepped out of the box, meaning we didn't go to one of our typical go to restaurants, and decided to try a new restaurant....Hu Hot Mongolian Grill. This is usually a hard thing for us to do because of Owen's fat restriction, but he hadn't had many fat grams earlier in the day...so we had a lot to work with!

Hu Hot Mongolian Grill is a create your own Asian stir fry! You start with an empty bowl and fill it with all the noodles, meat, veggies, and sauces that you want...and then you take it to the grill! The grill was Owen's favorite part...he just sat their staring in awe!

The food was delicious! Josh and I tried two different creations and liked them both. Owen tried a few noodles and mandarin oranges, but was ultimately saving room for dessert. They had a S'mores platter where you could roast your own marshmallow at the table and Owen absolutely LOVED it!

Owen tried a few bites of the S'more, but his favorite part was eating and roasting the marshmallows...which is great because they're fat free!

"yummy"
eating one and roasting another one...quite the little multi-tasker
If you look closely, you can see Owen's first ever tattoos! He was flirting with one of the waitresses....so she brought him a tattoo for each hand. He thought the were stickers and couldn't figure out why they wouldn't stick to his hand....so of course we had to show him how they worked! With the ice from my water, we managed to get tattoos on both hands without too big of a mess! And Owen was sooo excited!
