Lights of the Ozark

We kicked off the Christmas season with the lighting of the Fayetteville square!  Keeping with tradition, we met the Watkins family at Tiny Tim's for pizza and fun before the parade.  Our group has definitely grown over the years....we've gone from a group of 6 to a group of 9!

Ava Kate was really excited about the lights and the parade!

Santa!!

Waving at Santa...

Aunt Anna hung out with Ava while we let Owen enjoy all the festivities...

And the night wouldn't be complete without a glowing sword!

The Watkins' kids...

Owen was really excited about seeing Santa this year...until it came time to sit in his lap!

Owen was also a little confused about the whole Santa thing.  He didn't tell him what he wanted until we were walking off and then he only yelled "toys".  About 10 minutes after we left Santa, he started telling me he wanted toys from Santa...apparently he thought Santa was going to give him toys that night! Ha!  So we had to explain Santa, and Christmas, and telling Santa what he wanted, and being good, and so on...

Owen's favorite parts of the night....the ponies and

...the music

Family pic minus one...
Ava was snoozin' in the stroller so we decided not to disturb her.
