Owen has become really vocal lately and loves telling us what he wants..."outside" and "ducks". We have a neighborhood pond and Owen loves going over there to feed the ducks. He runs to the door and stands there saying "outside", "outside", "outside"...so it's become our nightly ritual to go feed the ducks after dinner.

Haircuts
The whole family got haircuts on Friday. Owen was starting to sport a mullet...so a haircut was desperately needed!! This was Owen's first trip to the salon and he was curious about everything, especially the dryer that mommy had to sit under.
Owen was really good at the beginning, he just sat there eating his fig newtons but then....
he started moving....
...and decided he was done getting his haircut!

More Fun in West Memphis...
We spent a lot of time visiting with family and friends while we were in West Memphis...and a lot time in the pool because it was sooooo hot! Owen also attended his first t-ball game and even got to "play"! He thought he was one of the big kids!
Emma Gayle's biggest fan...

After the game, we headed to the pool the cool off! It was Owen's first time in the pool this year and he had a blast! I forgot to pack bathing suits, so he just wore a little swimmer... I know, a little ghetto, but who cares!!

Graduation...
My sister graduated from high school a few weeks ago....so we went on a family road trip to West Memphis. This was Owen's longest road trip since Christmas and he was not a fan! By the time we got to Conway, we had to stop and let him get out. He RAN around Old Navy for about an hour, had Chic-fil-a, and then slept for last 1.5 hrs of the trip.
Graduation was on Friday night. It only lasted about an hour and afterwards we had a family gathering to celebrate. Owen did pretty well during graduation and only yelled out a few time, but luckily it wasn't during the benediction given by Aunt Anna.
"I'm ready for graduation"
If you look really close, you can see Anna getting her diploma...
