hitting the ball park again...

We are spending a lot of time at the ball park these days!!

We are sooooo excited about these warm weather games!!  Especially after sitting through all the cold ones bundled up in our sleeping bags!!  Shorts, flip flops, and sunglasses are our preferred ball game attire! 

Getting in some one-on-one time with Beema while bother is on the field!!

Owen is definitely starting to enjoy t-ball more as his batting skills have gotten better and better!

…but still not a fan of playing in the field.  He still prefers to 'bounce' around in the field…literally!!

but will go after the ball if its hit in his direction….

Season Opener....

Owen's first game with the Cobras!!

It was sunny but sooooo cold! The players didn't seem to mind but the fans were doing everything they could to stay bundled up!

It was definitely a fun game to watch!  I don't know if Owen was cold or just REALLY excited, but he bounced the entire game!!

I can't wait to see what the rest of the season holds!! Fun times ahead!

Gearing up for t-ball....

We've officially signed Owen up for his first extracurricular activity...T-Ball!!  So we headed to Academy to get all the gear he needed! Luckily daddy was there to teach both Owen and I the correct bats and cleats for T-ball!  Mommy may or may not have picked our soccer cleats...oops!  Fun times ahead!

The first practice was a success!  Turns out Owen is the youngest on the team, but he hung in there and had fun!  His favorite part so far is hitting the ball...not such a big fan of playing the outfield yet.

Owen is officially growing up on me...he no longer wants to play with mommy at the park....instead, he makes new friends and plays with them.  I love it but its definitely bitter sweet!

With the first practice under his belt, he was a lot more confident and knew what to expect for the rest of practices...
