Gigi and Papa Bart come to visit....

Weekend visits from Papa Bart and Gigi are one of the kids favorites!  This weekend we decided to go to the Bentonville farmers market, play at the splash park, and try Crepes Paulette!

After making our way through the farmers market and buying a few goodies, we headed to the splash park.  This was our first time and it was definitely a hit!

Owen ran right in, but Miss Ava Kate took a little while to warm up to it….

While the kids were playing at the splash park, we all took turns standing in line at Crepes Paulette!  It took about 45 minutes, but was totally worth the wait!  We all got something different and they were all delicious!!

We ended the weekend with some pool time…

Summer nights.....

If we are not swimming, we are typically playing outside….riding bikes, playing basketball, feeding the ducks, or taking a stroll around the block.  

Basketball is Owen's new favorite nightly activity...

Summer fun...Flip flop day!

We celebrated National Flip Flop Day with free smoothies from Tropical Smoothie.....

The kids were soooo excited to have their own "big" smoothies!!

Saturday Fun...

One of the things we love most about Fayetteville is the Farmers Market....

The kids love all the live music and picking out fresh fruit....especially blueberries!

After making our rounds at the Farmer's Market, we decided to head down the street to the library....

Ava Kate loves to do anything her big brother is doing, so of course she had to try the computers too!

They would have picked out 100+ books if I would have let them.....

After 4 days of swim lessons, Owen has really taken off!  So proud of our little man!

Hello....Summer Camp!

We decided to change things up for the summer and let Owen go to Summer Camp at FAC!

New friends, swimming lessons, weekly field trips, basketball, hockey, and more.....

...let the summer begin!

Saying Goodbye...

After 4 years at the Sunshine House, Owen said goodbye.  We have loved out time there but decided Owen was ready for a change....Fayetteville Athletic Club Summer Program, here we come!!
