Bikes for Heroes had their annual 5k and Josh and Owen were the family participants this year! 

Josh ran the 5k and Owen did the 1 mile walk..

TEAMworks Golf Tournament

We had the 3rd annual TEAMworks Golf Tournament on June 15th!  

A beautiful start to the day with gorgeous whether, a yummy breakfast, and a fun auction...

TEAMworks Art Show

TEAM Talent is a local program of extra curricular activities for children with special needs.  The spring program focuses on art, with an entire semester spent help each child develop individualized works of art!

The TEAM Talent masterpieces were presented in an art show at the Botanical Garden.

TEAMworks: Heroes for Kids 5K

Josh and I ran is our 1st 5K on November 3rd!!  It was a fundraiser for TEAMworks, a non-profit that we have been privileged to be a part of for the last couple of years.  

The Heroes for Kids 5K was an event organized to support children with special needs in Northwest Arkansas and in orphanages in Ukraine and Guatemala.  There was a 5K race as well as a 1 mile fun run/bike for all the kiddos!  

Excited about checking a 5K off our bucket list....and praying that I would actually finish!

The weather was perfect and there was a great turnout for the first of many TEAMworks 5Ks! 

October 6th...

Thursday...we had breakfast together as a family and then got Owen ready and off to daycare for some fun with friends.  

It was a big day for Ava...her first sponge bath at home.  We were expecting her to scream her head off like Owen did during his first bath (at home), but she actually seemed to enjoy it.  Josh videoed it so this is the only picture we got...

Dressed and clean with no where to go...so of course mommy had to have a photo-shoot!

A quick trip to the pond to feed the ducks... Owen was soooo excited that Ava got to go with him to feed the ducks!  Such a proud big brother....

After dinner and bath time, I went to the clinic to help TEAMworks pack for Ukraine.... So Josh was on his own with both kids for the first time.  I was only gone for about 1.5 hours because Ava is still only breastfeeding, but when I got home she actually took her first bottle!  BUT as Josh and I were celebrating her success, she spit it ALL up!!  So...I guess she's still not ready for a bottle.
