Honey has been obsessed with Owen's Razorback. She doesn't like to chew on it or play with it...she just likes to lay with it on her bed. Josh takes it away and as soon as we turn our backs or leave the room... she gets it again! I caught her in the act the other day and thought I would share the pics....

Labor Day
As usual I'm behind on posting.....Here are some pics from Labor Day. We decided to take advantage of the day off and the nice weather with a walk around Lake Fayetteville.

When we started our walk, we thought the entire Lake Fayetteville trail was paved....but on our way to the park the paved trail came to an end! We decided to continue on, thinking the dirt trail wouldn't/couldn't be very long....but we quickly found out we were wrong! Let's just say our leisure walk around Lake Fayetteville turned into a family hike!

Saturday...at home
Owen and I slept in on Saturday morning and then vegged out in my bed while we watched cartoons. It was so much fun...I think we should make it a Saturday morning ritual. Playhouse Disney is Owen's favorite. He still has a really short attention span so we only made it through part of "Mickey Mouse Club House" and "Handy Manny". He loved to dancing to all the music! After cartoons, we decided to get up and have some breakfast. Since, daddy was busy in the yard and mommy's not much of a cook, we had cereal. This was Owen's first attempt at cereal and milk....he loved it, but it was a mess!
It turned out to be a really nice day, so we spent most of our day outside. We started out playing in the backyard, but since our yard is somewhat "under construction", we decided to play elsewhere. We left daddy to the yard work and headed to Lake Fayetteville.
Owen decided that he needed to walk Honey....

Then Honey decided that she needed to pull Owen...
After the yard work was done and Owen had taken a much needed nap, we grilled out hotdogs. Owen loves being outside and Josh and I love grilling out, so it was a great way to end the day. I have a feeling we'll be grilling out a lot this summer!Owen's hotdogs..they're only .5 grams per link
