Our vacation comes to an end...

One night we took all this kids to Baytown Wharf while the guys were finishing up with a round of golf. It's a great place with tons of things to do for kids of all ages. We started out at the playground and ended up at the pond where the kids where feeding the fish and watching the big turtle. I wish I would have take more pics of Baytown...it's such a neat place!

Friday was our last full day in Florida and we spent the entire day at the beach! It was a little overcast for part of the day, which made for a perfect beach day. The whole group was out there on and off all day, but Charley and Owen were going strong til the end!

We attempted to get a group picture of all the kids....but getting four kids under 3 years old to all sit down at the same time..was quite the chore. Here are a few of our most successful pics....

vacation continued....

We declared Thursday a GIRLS day and left all the kids with the boys and Mallory (Erin's sister who came along to help with the kids). We had a nice relaxing lunch at Crab Trap and then headed to the outlet mall for a little shopping. It was nice to spend the day doing what we wanted with out scheduling everything around nap times, potty breaks, break downs, etc! We were really only gone for about 5 hours and the boys were already texting to ask when we would be back..Ha!

The boys decided not to attempt the beach without all the mamas, so they stayed at the house and played in the pool instead...

That night we went to eat at one of our favorite restaurants, The Red Bar. After the little ones were down, we got Owen and Charley settled with a movie and left them with Mallory for an adults only dinner.

One of Owen's favorite things about the entire vacation was driving the golf cart! He was quite the little helper!

We had a wave of the stomach virus that hit almost everyone at the beginning of the vacation. By Tuesday, it had gotten to everyone except Lindsey, Charley, Owen, and David. Luckily, it was a fast virus and everyone was back on the beach by Tuesday afternoon and feeling 100% by Wednesday morning. It wasn't a fun experience...but I'm sure it's something we'll look back on and laugh about in years to come.
