Owen was a big help when came to decorating for Christmas! He was into everything!! As you can tell from the pictures...Owen really liked (i mean eating) the Christmas ornaments. There was definitely a strategy to hanging Christmas ornaments this year...all the breakable ones were on the top half of the tree and all non-breakable ones were on the bottom half. And Owen had his own special gingle bell ornament on the very bottom of the tree...so every time he ran into the tree with his walker the bell would ring and distract him from grabbing all the other ornaments. It worked pretty well for the most part.

We started our holiday festivities with the Christmas parade and the lighting of the Fayetteville square. We enjoyed dinner at Tiny Tims with the Watkins and then met up with Aunt Amanda and Austin. Owen and Brenner were a little too young to really know what all was going on but they were definitely entertained by the all lights and the crowd.

We also had my work Christmas party at beginning of December. It was a semi formal at the Springdale Country Club. At work, we're usually all dressed in scrubs or t-shirts and jeans, so its always fun to see each other dressed up. Our clinic has grown so much in the past year (not only in the number of therapist, but in the amount of space), so it was nice to just sit and visit with everyone. It was also a night out for Josh and I because Owen spent the night at Beema and Papa Joes...which meant that we got to sleep in the next morning. Yea!
The TEAM also had a Christmas Party for all the patients and their families. It was so much fun! TEAM Talent, a group of kids from the clinic, put on a 30 min play for everyone...it was seriously the cutest thing I have every seen! Then the therapist sang a therapy version of Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer and did the "Hannah Montana Hoe Down"...it was disastrous and comical to say the least. Santa Clause and Mrs. Clause also attended the Christmas Party, so all the kids got to take their picture with Santa and tell him what they wanted for Christmas. This was Owen first picture with Santa....I'm not sure he liked Santa all that much.
